After Money Fued With Cash Money Records Producer Bangladesh Signs With YMCMB

The powerhouse record label and Bangladesh have since straightened out
their business, the producer revealed to MTV News. "We just did some
nice business together. They just bought a whole bunch of tracks,
that's about it," Bang said. "They gave me a song deal, basically,
first song deal I ever had, so shouts out to Cash Money." Fans can now
expect to hear more of the Atlanta beatmaker's pounding production on
upcoming YMCMB releases. "Everybody respects each other, and real
recognizes real. At the end of the day, the work is solid, so
everybody wants to be in business with each other," he said. "Our
issues, we resolved the issues, so it was time to move on past that
and do other business. "I think it's really big," Bangladesh added.
"It's a big step, because it went from negative to positive, so you
could show people that you can always work things out."
Prior to things getting ironed out, Bang said Cash Money had failed to
fully compensate him for 2011's "6 Foot, 7 Foot" anthem.

In regards to "6 Foot, 7 Foot," Bangladesh claims to have waived the
upfront fee that he usually charges artists, just so he could have the
opportunity to work with Tunechi again. "It's not about the money,
it's not about me charging him for the beat, because he is Lil Wayne;
he's gonna sell albums," the producer said. "You only really charge
people that you think is not gonna really sell too much, so you want
to get your money off top. You might not get it on the back-end
because albums don't sell no more." What he does know is that he can't
continue to work with Cash Money until things get resolved. "Every
time we come up with a solution, it never gets taken care of. I just
can't keep really giving them music."
Back in 2010, Bang aired out his frustrations with Cash Money over unpaid music.

"This is why Mannie Fresh don't f*ck with [Cash Money] because he
never got any royalty money," he said in an interview. "That's why
Baby can go around flaunting this cash, because that's everyone else's
money... It's not even Wayne's fault. Wayne is not getting money. He
is given money, he's not getting money. If Baby gets a million dollars
he'll buy Wayne a Phantom, but that's in Cash Money's name. That
14-bedroom mansion isn't Wayne sh*t. That's why he have his own
company, because he was trying to leave Cash Money and the only thing
that would keep him there was [if they] gave him his own thing. But
Baby still controls that. All those Young Money artists don't even
know that they not getting royalty money.
